Nestled in the heart of Jordan, this iconic desert, often referred to as the "Valley of the Moon", offers a breathtaking spectacle of vast stretches of red sand, towering cliffs and wind-sculpted rock formations.
- the Ballooning depends on the day's weather conditions, so reservations can be cancelled at the last minute, usually the day before, if the weather doesn't permit.

- Hot-air balloon seats are in great demand, especially in high season, so be sure to book early.
This tour departs from Wadi Rum Visitor Center or the Camp if you have taken the overnight option in our Camp.
The ballooning experience begins when our hot-air balloon crew welcomes you before sunrise in Wadi Rum. From there, we check the prevailing wind conditions and choose the best launch site for the day. As the direction and speed of the balloons are determined solely by the direction and speed of the wind, every day is different!
Once the launch site has been selected, our crew will take you to the launch site, where you'll be amazed at the balloon's true size during inflation. Then the experience begins!
You can also choose to integrate this option at the beginning or end of one of our tours, enriching your desert experience with a unique and authentic touch.
